Blog Awards Ireland 2012 – nomination closes on July 31st.

I first started blogging back in April 2010, slowly at first, I soon became hooked when I actually realised people were interested in reading what I wrote; I gradually became a more prolific blogger during the summer of 2011.

Blogging has provided me with an opportunity to express and sometimes rant about issues that interest me. It’s been very much a labour of love for me, I have been humbled by the comments and feedback I have received. Working in film and TV for over 20 years much of my blogging has been related to the changes which are taking place in the Industry and how Irish film can best position itself to take advantage of those changes.  Other areas of interest I have would be architecture, the entire arts world, public transport issues, and a bit of photography.

If you find my blog worthy, I would be very grateful if you take a minute to nominate it for the Blog Awards Ireland 2012.  Any nomination would be appreciated the choice is yours, but I think these 2 are the best fit:

  • Best Arts and Culture
  • Best Personal Blog

Thanks for taking the time to read this and hopefully receiving you support and nomination.

Please click here to nominate closing date has been extended until July 31st.
