Coming to the end of five-week shoot on series two of TG4 comedy mini-series, ‘Crisis Eile’ next week it will be moving to Brussels to shoot some exteriors scenes. The majority of the filming was done within an office block at Cherrywood Business Park.
Produced by Martha O’Neill’s Wildfire Films with director Charlie McCarthy (Pure Mule) and designed by Brien Vahey, it features many of the same cast and crew from season one, with RTÉ presenter Gaeilgeoir Bláthnaid Ní Chofaigh taking on the lead role.
‘Crisis Eile’ depicts life at ACT (An Chomhairle Teanga), the fictional Irish-language organisation that takes an “obscure” approach to management and a pet parrot!
The series was funded by TG4, the BAI and the support of Section 481 and is expected to air on TG4 later in the year.
