Neverland released on DVD and Blu-ray on March 13th

Green screen set at Swords Co. DublinFollowing  Neverland airing on Sky HD just before Christmas, the fantasy prequel to Peter Pan written and directed by Nick Willing, will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on March 13th 2012.

Featuring Golden Globe nominee  Anna Friel (Pushing Daisies) as Captain Elizabeth Bonny, BAFTA winner Rhys Ifans (Nothing Hill, and Harry Potter) will play James Hook – Oscar nominee Bob Hoskins as Mr Smee, and Charlie Rowe as Peter Pan.

The two part TV feature movie for Sky HD began production in mid July 2010 at offices and 2 adapted green screen studios at Swords, North Co. Dublin. Week one of the shoot was in Genoa, Italy at the beginning of September before moving to Dublin for 10 weeks shoot. Irish locations included Blessington Lakes, Killiney Hill, Dublin Castle, North Great Georges Street and our studio base at Swords,  North Co. Dublin.

It was the largest green screen shoot ever to be done in Ireland to date, and I really enjoyed this new experience.

Here is a brief look behind the scenes.
