Irish Film and TV Awards Nomination and Winners

Last nights 8th Irish Film & Television Academy awards (IFTA) were held at Dublin’s Convention Centre presented by Simon Delaney. There was some criticism in recent days of the ticket price, and many empty seats were visible at last nights event.

It’s clear that in recent years our animation sector though small in scale are really making an impact in the international market and the quality of all those selected in this category were of a very high standard.

The highlight in my view was Morgan O’Sullivan who received the Outstanding Contribution to Industry Award.

A complete list of the other winners from last night.
