Recently Dublin corporation have introduced water containers on the Liffey Board-walk to water the plants. Nothing much wrong with that it is a bit of a chore getting water there every day during summer months. I do question some of the thinking about the position of these containers.
Why put these containers placed right where people would be expected to walk? and what about visually impaired? These containers weigh one tonne when full of water yet they are are placed on the weakest part of the the walkway structure.
The containers should be placed by the granite wall like the seating and planters. One last thing a little cladding around the containers similar to the planters would help take away the industrial look. They look like something you would find in a third world country.
A little more attention to detail Dublin corporation, please.
